To make it, we can use any variant of nougat: soft almond nougat, chocolate nougat, coconut nougat, yolk nougat, ... we have decided on a classic: soft almond nougat flan.
The procedure of this recipe is very easy, since we will help ourselves with curd, so it will not be necessary to use an oven.
Next, we leave you the ingredients for 6 people:
500 ml of milk (preferably whole)
100 ml of liquid cream (35% fat)
300 g soft almond nougat Flavor of Spain
2 envelope of curd
You cannot miss the opportunity to prepare this wonderful dessert. Its process is very easy, since by not using an oven, the hard work will be done by the powdered curd.
How is the nougat flan made?
We dissolve the curd in a little milk, stirring until there are no lumps.
With the help of a knife we cut the Sabor a España almond nougat into small pieces, the smaller the pieces the better.
In a bowl we put the pieces of soft nougat, the milk, the cream, the mixture of curd and milk and the sugar.
Blend with the blender until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
We transfer the mixture to a saucepan and heat over low heat without stopping stirring.
After a few minutes, the mixture will start to boil. At that moment we put out the fire.
We prepare the molds that we are going to use (since their presentation will be individual) and we pour the mixture into them.
Let cool before putting the puddings in the fridge.
We wait 1-2 hours for it to set in the fridge.
When the puddings are firm it is time to decorate it.
IMPORTANT: for the curd to harden and acquire the texture of flan, it is essential that the mixture reaches the boiling point in the saucepan. If this does not happen, we will get an equally good dessert, but with a creamy texture.
